Meet Anita Mbabazi
Anita Mbabazi – Director and Doula at Holding Her
Space, Mental Health worker, Higher Diploma in
Counselling and Psychology, BTEC Diploma Health &
Social Care and Mother.
Anita has had experience working with homeless women
since June 2018, providing support on topics such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug and alcohol addictions, sex work, and various mental health conditions.
After doing three months of work experience with health
visitors in North Manchester 2016, including
shadowing Bolton Community midwives, breastfeeding
peer buddies and the district nurses, Anita is now
supporting women at different stages of their birthing
period as her main focus of work.
